RMPhysio offers clinical exercise sessions and small group pilates classes through our RehabFit Program. RehabFit exercises focus on posture, core stability, balance, strength and general fitness using a combination of pilates informed exercises cardio and resistance training. RehabFit sessions are conducted in our expanded gym and pilates studio.
Utilising specific pilates equipment, including reformers, trapeze tables and wunda chair, in addition to general gym based cardio and weights equipment, our RehabFit sessions will help you reach your fitness or rehabilitation goals faster.
RehabFit programs are tailor made to your specific fitness or rehabilitation goals and are developed and supervised by either a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. This means you may be able to claim RehabFit exercise with most health funds, and we recommend you check your level of cover with your individual health fund.
RehabFit sessions are perfect for general fitness and building strength. It is also useful in the rehabilitation and prevention of injury, as well as sports specific training. If you already participate in an exercise class or running group, you’ll be surprised at just how much a regular RehabFit program will compliment your current fitness regime.
By incorporating pilates equipment into RehabFit programs, many exercises can be done lying on your back, providing people with knee, ankle and hip issues a non-weight bearing exercise program. People with back pain can also use our equipment safely to increase their core strength and flexibility.

To get started, you need to book a 1 hour RehabFit Initial Assessment. This is followed by three individual 30 minute RehabFit sessions to work through your clinical exercise program in our pilates and gym studio.
After completing three individual RehabFit exercise sessions, you can then choose to join a small group class or continue with further individual sessions or a combination of both.
RehabFit Assessment and Program Design (60 mins) $154

In this one hour pilates assessment, we do a postural assessment that reviews your body’s strengths and weaknesses, flexibility, balance, core strength and pelvic stability. We will also address any past or present injuries, pain or particular areas of concern and discuss your overall health and fitness goals.
From this session our Physiotherapist will develop a personalised RehabFit program tailored to your individual exercise needs and goals.
We then book three one-on-one sessions to go through the specific exercises in your program. These individual sessions enable you to familiarise yourself with the exercises and learn the correct posture and form when using the reformers and other pilates and gym based equipment. All RehabFit sessions are conducted by either a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist.

- Your first Individual session allows you to learn the specific exercises in your program and enables you to become familiar with using the variety of equipment under supervision.
- RehabFit sessions use pilates equipment such as reformers, the trapeze table and the wunda chair.
- After completing three one-on-one sessions, you can choose to continue with ongoing individual RehabFit sessions or join a small group class of up to 5 participants.

- Our Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist conducts all our small group classes.
- Limiting classes to 5 participants ensures close supervision, ensuring that you are performing the exercises CORRECTLY.
- Each class is 45 minutes, allowing you to work on your individualised program at your own pace.
- Sessions include using equipment such as pilates reformers, the trapeze table, the wunda chair, free weights and cardio machines, mat work and stretching.
- Class timetable and bookings can be made online.
- BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL as classes are limited to only 5 participants.
