Director & Head Physiotherapist Geoff Clark has built his Practice on delivering the highest standards of patient care & treatment. He has a reputation for achieving results and has built his clinic on word of mouth referral.

He leads a team of dedicated Practitioners, many with over 15 years experience in private practice and elite sports and who are passionate about getting you back to your optimum level of activity. Geoff has personally employed each Practitioner to ensure his standards of excellence are delivered by every member of the RMPhysio team.



Director / Head Physiotherapist

Geoff Clark has over 25 years experience in private clinical practice and sports medicine, at all levels. Geoff graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991.

Geoff is well known in the area having being a former Partner of Allsports Red Hill, and previously, the Spring Hill Sports Medicine Clinic. He also has a long association with the GPS Old Boys Rugby Club in Ashgrove, which continues today with RMPhysio being contracted to provide Physiotherapy for GPS premier grades.

Geoff moved overseas to the UK in 2001 and worked in the highly regarded London Barbican Sports Medicine Clinic followed by 5 years as Head Physiotherapist with Bath Rugby.

In 2007, Geoff returned to Brisbane and joined the Queensland Reds to lead the medical program that culminated in the Super Title winning team of 2011. Geoff was part of the Wallabies Physiotherapy team from 2009 until 2012 and part of the key medical team in the Wallabies preparation for the British & Irish Lions Tour test matches.

Geoff returned to private practice in 2012 and established RMPhysio with a vision to deliver exceptional client service & patient care. With over 10 years experience in contact & collision sports and over 20 years in general musculoskeletal injuries he has in depth understanding of orthopaedic and soft tissue rehabilitation, which translates so well to the needs of his clients in everyday life.

Senior Physiotherapist
Jeremy graduated from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours in 2011. He worked in a sports and musculoskeletal private practice on Brisbane’s Northside for a number of years before moving to London where he spent 12 months working in one of London’s most well known physiotherapy clinics and worked closely with some of London’s best Orthopaedic Consultants and Sports Physicians.                                
Jeremy has a special interest in Tennis and has spent time working alongside ATP Tour Physiotherapists and players in London and in Brisbane and recently attended the US Open as part of the Medicl & Physio team. He has excellent knowledge of injuries relating to shoulder, elbows and knees. He will be completing his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University in 2017.

Senior Physiotherapist

Brooke is an APA accredited Sports Physiotherapist with over 12 years experience treating and rehabilitating sports injuries. Brooke has worked with the Australian Flatwater canoe / kayak team, Australian Women’s National Basketball League, various club level women’s and men’s rugby teams, and Australian Women’s Football W-League. 

Brooke has been an athlete on the Australian Rowing Team for 8 years and is a dual Olympian, World Rowing Champion and Olympic Silver medalist from the 2012 London Olympic Games. As our rowing specialist Brooke conducts Rowing Specific Sports screenings - if you, or your child, is involved in rowing take the opportunity of having a rowing screening consult with Brooke.


Senior Physiotherapist

Chris graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and commenced working at a sports physiotherapy clinic in Brisbane’s western suburbs. Whilst there, Chris worked with many local soccer clubs across the Brisbane and Queensland leagues and has excellent knowledge of the injuries associated with, and preventative measures for, soccer and various running sports.  

Chris is passionate about all sports and has a particular interested in Rugby Union and the injuries sustained from rugby. For several years, Chris has been responsible for co-ordinating injury prevention programs for the Queensland Rugby Referees Association.  

 During his years of practice Chris has participated in ongoing professional development and has recently attained his level one strength and conditioning qualification and with RMPhysio's ongoing association GPS, Chris will be working as a Club Physiotherapist with GPS Rugby Senior Teams in 2019. His specialist areas of interest are shoulders and hips.

Senior Physiotherapy

Lauren graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) and a Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement. Lauren works with patients with general musculoskeletal physiotherapy needs and has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy.

Lauren developed our exercise rehab program involving a combination of physio and pilates exercises to assist injury recovery and prevention and general fitness. Whether for increased strength & flexibility or high performance training, Lauren will write an individual exercise program for you tailored to your specific needs. Lauren conducts individual exercise sessions and small group classes of up to 4 people with tailored programs.

When away from the clinic Lauren continues to row competitively and play netball.



BEXSS (AEP, AES) ESSAM Exercise Physiologist

Bec graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2016 and is now an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist. She also has qualification in Strength & Conditioning, Sports Training and Sports Strapping. Bec will develop personal training and exercise programs for individuals to increase general strength, tone & fitness, assist with athletic training and performance and to improve health management for people with chronic conditions. Rebecca has completed her advanced training in Pilates and reformer equipment and can include these in challenging and complex exercise programs depending on your individual needs and goals.

Bec has a special interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and also enjoys the complexity of cardiac rehabilitation and other chronic conditions. This year Bec will also continue her work with GPS Rugby Senior Teams where she coordinates the club’s strapping and medical facilities while working with players who require exercise based improved fitness and rehabilitation.

Mitchell joined Queensland Foot Centres in 2018 after graduating from Queensland University of Technology and is an active member of the Australia Podiatry Association. Mitchell enjoys seeing all types of patients and has a passion for sports and Sports Podiatry. Mitchell works at RMPhysio every Friday.

Massage Therapist

Matt is a Soft Tissue Therapist who has over 20 years experience.

Matt’s passion, knowledge and skills have seen him become one of Australia’s leading practitioners. Over the past 10 years Matt has been the full-time Soft Tissue Therapist for teams such as the Wallabies, Brisbane Lions AFC and The Qld Reds Super 15 teams, which has seen Matt travelling internationally & domestically as part of his position. In addition, Matt was also was selected as a member of Australia's Medical Team at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.

Matt is a sought after Lecturer & was one of the Key Note Speakers at the 2009 Australian Soft Tissue Conference held in Sydney. Many of Australia's top elite athletes seek out Matt's skills & knowledge. Specialising in Sporting Injuries & Athletic Performance, Matt has many years of treating private patients as well. Some of the techniques Matt uses in his treatments are Soft Tissue Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofasical Cupping, Dry Needling & M.E.T Stretching. A full member of ANTA, Matt's treatment is covered by most private health funds.

Specialising in Women's Health
Carolyn has over 20 years Physiotherapy experience having graduated from the University of Queensland, with Honours in 1982. Carolyn initially worked in the areas of musculoskeletal & sports physiotherapy and paediatric physiotherapy, before focusing on women’s health issues. Carolyn’s experience in this specialized area includes over 10 years working at the Mater Mothers Hospital and more recently in private clinics.

Currently, Carolyn has a role in the School of Physiotherapy at ACU as Lecturer-in-charge of Gender Health and Physiotherapy Foundations of Practice units. Carolyn will be offering individual consultation for pelvic floor treatment and prevention in women at all ages and stages. Carolyn will focus on treatment associated with:

  • Pelvic Floor education, prevention & management
  • Bladder & Bowel dysfunction e.g. incontinence, constipation and prolapse
  • Education and exercise programs in the childbearing year
“Many women presenting with back pain commonly are having difficulty with correct activation of the core muscles, particularly the pelvic floor, often quietly putting up with incontinence, pelvic floor and bowel dysfunction issues. I feel there is a vital role for ‘Pelvic Floor education’, particularly the role of the pelvic floor in posture and prevention of dysfunction which can have a huge impact on daily lifestyle” – Carolyn Rutter.
