COVID-19 Update

As an “essential service” provider, we are continuing to offer our normal services including Physio, Exercise Physiology and RehabFit / Pilates.

The Team at RMPhysio have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. As part of the allied health industry we are encouraged by the federal government to continue to operate and deliver our services to you in clinic and via our Telehealth services. We wanted to reassure you that we are being proactive with the health and hygiene protocols that we have implemented to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, patients and wider community.

  • When arriving at RMPhysio, we ask that everyone uses the bathroom facilities to wash your hands prior to your appointment.

  • We disinfect our reception desk and eftpos facilities after every transaction. All door handles and patient seating areas are also cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day.

  • We have removed all bed linen from treatment beds and our team are cleaning all treatment surfaces with disinfectant spray before and after every appointment.

  • Fresh face shields for every patient are used when being treated lying down, which is our standard practice.

  • In our rehabilitation exercise area our Physios and Exercise Physiologist will ensure you have additional space while exercising and will clean each piece of equipment after use.

  • We are regularly reviewing daily patient numbers and appointment scheduling to comply with the ever-changing Australian government regulations around the Coronavirus.

  • Our staff wash their hands after each patient consult and we have hand wash and sanitiser available for patient use.

  • RehabFit & Pilates classes are continuing but have been reduced to a maximum of 4 participants to ensure the appropriate distancing between clients.

We will continue to monitor the situation daily and follow the guidelines of the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and the Australian Government so that we can keep you safe and informed as circumstances evolve.

Stay safe during this time.
