Reformer Pilates

RMPhysio offers Reformer Pilates Individual sessions and Small Group Classes             ( maximum of just 4 participants) in our expanded Gym and Pilates Studio. All of our programs are developed & supervised by a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist who have a passion for Pilates and it's benefits in everyday life.

Reformer Pilates is ideal for everyday general fitness and well being, strength and tone. It is also important in the rehabilitation and prevention of injury, as well as sports specific training. If you already participate in a PT class or running group you'll be surprised at just how much a regular Pilates program will compliment your current fitness regime.

Pilates equipment uses springs and pulleys to add resistance to improve core muscle strength and flexibility. At RMPhysio, our Pilates programs focus on posture, core stability, balance, strength and tone utilising specific Pilates equipment, including reformers, wunda chair and trapeze, in addition to general mat work.

Using Pilates equipment, many exercises can be done lying on your back, enabling people with knee, ankle and hip issues a non-weight bearing exercise program. People with back pain can also use equipment safely to increase their core strength and flexibility.

Ready to get started? Book in for a Pilates Pre-Assessment & Program consultation.
